I ride because there’s no way to feel closer to your environment than on a bike. You see things you wouldn’t normally see, and get to experience the world around you from outside the confines of a car. You can stop and smell the roses whenever you like, you’re not a slave to traffic and road rage, and you can smile knowing that the energy you’ve spent that day was your own, not the Earth’s. That’s why I ride.
