“26 year old, PE instructor who loves the outdoors.”

Why do you ride?

It’s the easiest/best/cheapest/most practical solution to get from Point A to Point B. It’s a way to clear my mind and feel like a genius all at once.

Best thing about cycling?

Being able to avoid the daily Manila traffic, keep a cool head and stay fit in the process.

What improvements would you like to see for cyclists?

Acceptance of cyclists as equal users of the road and not as nuisances.

Fondest cycling memory?

When we were young, my 2 brothers and I would squeeze ourselves on one BMX and bomb down the hills of our village.

Cycling tip?

Keep yourself visible at all times. It looks cool to ride a bike without a helmet, but it’s always better to be safe than cool. Keep a cool head on the road.

3 things you’d love the world to know about you?

  • I’m a PE instructor and do my best to encourage people to get fit and lead healthy lifestyles.
  • I’m a frustrated athletic non-athlete (meaning I dabble in as many sports as I can, but I’m not particularly good in any of them).
  • One day, I want to be a bike mechanic and open a bike/coffee/beer shop.
