“27 year old, RMIT RUSU Student Liaison Officer”
Why do you ride?
To keep fit, save money and to try and pedal the talk about being environmentally friendly.
Best thing about cycling?
You see more than as a driver and see it faster than as a pedestrian.
What improvements would you like to see for cyclists?
Less anger from drivers and bike lanes that aren’t full of potholes or just a gutter.
Fondest cycling memory?
Riding around Vancouver, it’s where I realised that riding was more fun than the bus. Especially as buses can’t pedal along a foreshore, be there when you want to leave or be spray painted fire engine red.
Cycling tip?
Expect everyone (cars, pedestrians and other cyclists) to cut in front of you, stop suddenly or just not be aware you are there.
3 things you’d love the world to know about you?
– I have cat like traits
– I like food too much
– I am going to overcome my fear of sharks one day soon.
