“started riding at age 5, car-free urban life (& coffee) lover exploring the old, new & constantly changing “Kiez”-areas of Berlin.“
Why do you ride?
I love getting around the city on my bike. When I moved back to Berlin I took public transport a lot, and hated it. I started riding here in the winter, and it works, even in the snow & cold.
Best thing about cycling?
Being able to chose how to get from A to B via C and maybe even D. Freedom.
What improvements would you like to see for cyclists?
Wider bike lanes. More bike racks.
Fondest cycling memory?
Riding from Hamburg to Paris when I was a teenager. My bike got stolen in Paris. I hope it is still happily cruising the streets there.
Cycling tip?
Be alert at all times & don’t ride faster than your brakes work.
